Who runs this site
archi-pack is run by Chris, based in Northern Ireland. I am the data controller for the personal information described on this page.
Nothing is sold on this site. The only personal information involved is the email address you give me to send you a checklist.

What I collect, and why
Your email address
Collected when you enter it into a signup form to receive a checklist. I use it to:
- send you the checklist you asked for
- send you occasional emails about portfolios, studio work and archi-pack products
The lawful basis is your consent. You give it by submitting the form and then clicking the confirmation link in the first email. You can withdraw it at any time.
Giving your email address is not a legal or contractual requirement. It is simply the only way I can send you the file. I do not ask for your name, your university, or anything else.
Email engagement
My email platform records whether an email was opened and whether a link in it was clicked, so I can judge whether what I send is worth reading. Open tracking is unreliable and I treat it as such.
Replies and correspondence
If you reply to an email or write to chris@archi-pack.com, I keep the message in my mailbox so I can answer it.
Who else handles it
- Kit Email platform. Stores the subscriber list and sends the emails.
- Cloudflare Serves this website and its DNS.
- Google Workspace The chris@archi-pack.com mailbox.
Each acts only on my instructions, under a written data processing agreement. These providers are based outside the UK, and those transfers rely on the safeguards approved for UK data transfers.
I do not sell, rent or share your email address with anyone else. There is no advertising on this site, and nothing is shared with advertisers.
Cookies
This site sets no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. There is no cookie banner because none is needed. The fonts are served from this site rather than from Google or any other third party, and the signup form is a plain HTML form that sets nothing in your browser.
Cloudflare, which serves the site, may set a strictly necessary cookie to filter automated traffic and keep the site secure. Strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent.
If I ever add analytics, this page will be updated and a consent banner added before anything is set.
How long I keep it
Your email address stays on the list until you unsubscribe.
When you unsubscribe I stop emailing you immediately and remove you from the active list. I keep a minimal record of the unsubscribed address so that you are never accidentally added back. If you would rather I erased that too, ask and I will.
Replies and correspondence are kept for up to two years, then deleted.
Your rights
You can ask me to:
- give you a copy of what I hold about you
- correct it
- delete it
- restrict or stop using it
- send it to you, or to someone else, in a portable format
- stop processing it, where I rely on your consent
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you are off the list — you do not need to ask me. For anything else, email chris@archi-pack.com and I will respond within one month.
There is no automated decision-making and no profiling.
Complaints
If you think I have handled your information badly, tell me first at chris@archi-pack.com and I will try to put it right.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material will also be mentioned in an email.
